Nice shot. I like the brown tones throughout this shot. I like that the trail leads off the shot, allowing the viewer to take the trail where they'd like.
I do find the border to be a bit distracting though. For me, and this is just my opinion, I think the shot would look better, and more natural, without the border. Let the trees frame this shot. They're fantastic. I'd also stop down the f-stop and bring more of the scene into focus.
